"Practicing the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence (Author), Tony Jones (Editor).
This obscure French monk who worked in the kitchen shows all of us how to recapture the
intimate friendship with Christ that was shared by the first disciples. He achieved a
concentration on God that was rooted in the everyday practicalities of life.
Reader Comment:
This is a tremendous thought provoking work by (and about) a monk in the 1600s who
achieved a state of being in which he continually felt totally in the presence of God.
I would recommend it for any true Christian who wishes to better grasp and understand
the omnipresence of God.
